Your Child Has Signed Up for Scratch

Scratch is a coding platform designed for children ages 8-16 with a simple visual interface that allows young people to create digital stories, games, and animations. Scratch is also the world’s largest online coding community for children. Scratch is designed, developed, and moderated by the Scratch Foundation, an independent nonprofit organization.

When your child registered to use Scratch, they provided us with your email address so that we could send you this message outlining our privacy practices.

By clicking on the link below, you are providing your consent for your child to have a Scratch account that will enable them to share their projects with others online and use Scratch’s social features, such as commenting on projects. If you do not provide your consent, then your child will not be permitted to use those features but they will be able to create and save private/non-public Scratch projects. If you do not consent to your child using Scratch at all, click here for steps to delete their account.
