A 19-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder Tuesday night after a woman was shot at a bus terminal underneath Denver’s Union Station.

“That was our first month living in Colorado and we got shot at by 15 different people, I don’t know how to even explain that,” one victim of the shooting said.

A LaSalle police officer who fatally shot a man outside a Family Dollar store while on duty was sentenced to six years in prison on Friday.

The identification of the Stone Canyon Fire victim comes after a nine-month investigation, sheriff’s officials said Tuesday.

A man was arrested on suspicion of trying to kidnap a 15-year-old girl near Thornton Middle School on Monday, police said.

Brandon Sutton is accused of shooting two men in a parking lot outside the Oasis Bar and Grill at 15064 East Mississippi Ave. at about 2:15 a.m. Sunday, according to his arrest affidavit.

The nightclub had moved between several Colorado Springs addresses, but had been inside the building raided by federal agencies on Sunday for several months, officials said.

The shooting happened at about 10 p.m. Monday and shut down the terminal for several hours, RTD said.

RTD’s acting police chief, who stepped into the role after his predecessor was fired last year, will officially take on the position in May.
