National Junior Honors Society

Would you like your child to build fundamental skills based on Scholarship, Service, Character, Leadership, and Citizenship? If so, the Glasgow Chapter of NJHS will soon be recruiting new members.  Applications will be available in Student Services starting Friday, April 25th and the deadline to turn in applications will be Friday, May 9th.

NJHS is only for rising 7th and 8th graders who have a 3.5 GPA (mostly As and Bs). If your student applies and is accepted, they should be committed to attending meetings every other week after school, completing 20 community service hours, and eager to be a part of the school community. If you have further questions please contact Adrienne Cooper at amcooper2@fcps.edu.

All State Choir

Congratulations to our students who represented Glasgow at All-State Choir this past weekend in Richmond, Virginia. With a total of 12 students representing Glasgow, we had the second most students represented from one school in the entire state of Virginia! We are so proud of our students here at Glasgow and be on the lookout for a link to YouTube video of their performances that will be shared on a future update.
