Learn about types of retaliation issues typically observed in federal sector EEO hearings, common misconceptions, and tips on how to address or avoid retaliatory behavior from an Administrative Judge’s viewpoint.
10:35 a.m. Reasonable Accommodation in Hearings: Lessons from the Field Russ Parker, Administrative Judge, EEOC Birmingham District Office, Hearings Unit. This session will over common reasonable accommodation issues seen during hearings. The administrative Judge will provide tips regarding the importance of documentation, including real-world examples of how these issues are handled during the Administrative Hearings phase.

This session explores key points regarding PWFA claims, legal protections, and how these issues are beginning to appear in hearings. The Administrative Judge will also share information regarding available resources covering the PWFA.
