Parent Coffee: SOL Test Taking Tips for Parents & Caregivers
On Friday, May 2, 8:35-9:15 AM ,we will hold our next parent coffee, which will include renovation updates and SOL test taking tips and strategies (including the balance between emphasizing the importance of the assessments while also decreasing test taking anxiety) shared by our 3rd-6th grade teachers. This meeting will take place in our library.
Velocity Wings Restaurant Night - TODAY!
If you love wings, not cooking dinner, and supporting the Scottie Community, you'll be ready for our next restaurant night! Join us at Velocity Wings in Fairfax, and they'll give 15% of sales back to the PTO!

STAFF APPRECIATION WEEK is coming fast, May 5-9! Help make sure we all get to appreciate our amazing BBES staff who make our kids’ school community so special!!!!
How to help:
-Contribute food, gift cards, drinks, etc on Signup Genius and drop off at front office throughout this week
-Send funds to fill in gaps for contributions via Venmo: @Suheyla-Lasky or PayPal: @SuheylaAyhan
-Volunteer time on Signup Genius
Chalk the Walk - SUNDAY!
Mark your calendar and join us as we decorate the Bonnie Brae front entrance with chalk messages and drawings for our fabulous BB Staff to kick off Staff Appreciation Week! There will be posters to decorate as well. We'll provide the chalk (but feel free to bring more) and PIZZA will be provided for our contributing artists! This is not a drop-off event, and all students must attend with a supervising adult.
When: Sunday, May 4, 4-6 PM
Where: BBES front entrance
