A 1-year-old girl died last week when a car crashed into an irrigation ditch near Brush in Morgan County, according to the Colorado State Patrol.

The owner of a Colorado-based accounting firm took a deal and pleaded guilty Monday to tax evasion and “conspiring to defraud the United States” of $8 million, federal officials said.
