Join the Fairmount Neighborhood Association as they celebrate their 43rd tour of historic homes on Mother’s Day weekend, 2025 in the beautiful Fairmount National Historic District in Fort Worth’s popular Southside.
This year’s tour will feature 8 fabulous locations made up of 6 homes and 2 businesses. Also, we are proud to showcase De Zavala Elementary School (Saturday only), a beloved neighborhood school that has been a part of Fairmount's history since 1905. This historical school is now one of the best performing schools in Ft Worth and boasts an A rating. Ironically, it is also one of the schools proposed by Ft Worth ISD for closure in a year or two. By showcasing this school we are hoping people will join our neighborhood in using their voices to save it!
There will also be an outdoor fair held in Fairmount Park on May 10 from 11am to 4:30 pm complete with local artists, vendors, activities, and food trucks! This event is a perfect Mother’s Day gift! Buy your tickets by May 9th at 4pm to receive a discount. Pre-sale tickets are $20/each. Tickets are $25/each on tour weekend. We hope to see you there!
