Principal's Message:

Hello Bull Run families,

Last Friday we hosted our first annual Inclusion Revolution Pep Rally. It was a powerful moment that brought our entire community together to celebrate and support our Special Olympics athletes and their amazing peer helpers. The energy was high as we cheered them on, showing what true inclusion looks like. We were honored to have Superintendent Dr. Reid in attendance—she was just as proud of our Bulls as I was. The kids had a lot of fun; especially when they got to pie their principal in the face...three times.

This week started SOL's, and I know our students are going to do their absolute best! Effort and attention go a long way, and I know they are prepared!

Today was Administrator Appreciation Day, and I know speak for Mrs. Campbell and Mrs. Rozzoni when I say that we were spoiled!  We felt the love, and the gratitude we have for your kindness is not measurable!

Next week is Staff Appreciation Week. As a biased principal, I have to say—we truly have the best staff around. Every day, they show up with heart, dedication, and the kind of passion that changes lives. Our school thrives because of all of them. This week (and every week), we celebrate their hard work, care for students, and the countless ways they make this community stronger.

REMINDERS:

Only 1 week left in our 20-day Attendance Challenge! In each grade level, the class with the best attendance rate over the past 20 days will earn some extra recess and ice pops! Visit FCPS’ website for more attendance resources

*Tomorrow, Friday 05/02, our STEAM & Earth Week spirit week wraps up by having students and staff show their love of Math by wearing patterns, numbers or graphs on their clothes; while learning how math helps scientists track animal populations and habitats!  We also hope to see you at STEAM Night at 6:00pm.

Have a wonderful weekend!

STEAM Night PTA

Staff Appreciation Week is here!

May 05-09

Next week, we celebrate Staff Appreciation Week, a special time to recognize all of the incredible dedication, care, and hard work of our teachers, instructional assistants, specialists, office staff, classroom monitors, custodians, cafeteria staff, administrators, and all of the countless people that make our school special.

Every member of our school staff plays a vital role in creating a safe, welcoming, and enriching environment for our students. We encourage families and students to join us in expressing gratitude—whether through a kind note, a smile, or a simple thank-you. Let’s come together to show our staff just how much they mean to us!

Without new revenue, such as the meals tax (adding just $2-3 to an average dining bill for a family of four), FCPS will face significant cuts.
