Happy Wednesday! It’s Weather Day at Nationals Park, and we loved surprising these kids with free tickets to the game.
What a roller coaster of emotions this week. Basil, the one-eyed Virginia opossum who won our hearts and the title of D.C.’s animal obsession in our 2023 bracket, has gone to the great burrow in the sky. The National Zoo’s local rescue was estimated to be 2.5 years old, which very old for an opossum.
Six Flags America may be leaving the chat, too, but D.C. did nab the 2027 NFL Draft!
