Last week, I felt like everything I touched turned to gold. This week, it feels like I’ve failed over and over again. Today, I’m going to talk about it, in hopes that you see you’re not the only one who struggles. LFG. 🔥 All The Things That Went RightIt’s been months of uncertainty. Last week, it felt like all the pieces were coming together. Quantum is running like a well oiled machine. The few customers I have were all generating phenomenal results. My sales team was hitting its stride. My products were finally coming together, and it seemed as though I would be able to hit my deadline of July 1 to have The Sales Training completely finished. I’ve been hitting all my daily goals for my Don’t Be A Little Bitch June challenge, and I’ve been going to sleep every night feeling content and serene. What could go wrong? This Week Hit A SlumpSales came down, I hit a major snag with one of my customers (and had to completely pause the billing and fix a big mistake I made), and I’ve been discovering so many holes in my automations and marketing. Of course, this is also the week the alignment in my car needed to be fixed and the week my lawyers told me I need to pay them $10,000 to organize all my corporations so that I’m not so vulnerable and have better organized operating agreements. Yesterday, I woke up feeling like I’ve been kidding myself and won’t be able to accomplish all these goals. The doubt was creeping in. Entrepreneurship is mental and emotional more than anything else. Over time, I’ve learned to manage my emotional reactions to setbacks and stay focused on what’s important. So what do you do? Keep Going, One Step At A TimeThis morning I woke up, and although there are still problems, I’m seeing progress.
Also, I got my car back and my wife did the nicest thing. She brought it to the car wash for me. Summer time in Denver is the absolute best and The Pearl gets sad in the winter, when she’s covered in salt. Jules didn’t have time to totally clean the wheels, but it made me feel great to jump in The Pearl, feel how well she’s riding after the tune up, and see her happy and clean. Today, I’m back on track. I’m seeing the forest through the trees, and it’s clear that everything is going great. The Trick Is Not To Get StuckIt’s been my experience that when people (myself included) hit rough patches, we start thinking that what we’re doing is the wrong thing to do. This is when you course correct or start doing it another way that someone else is doing because they must know better than you. The reality is that in most cases, the right thing to do is to continue pushing forward. You can’t get stuck. You can’t freeze. You just keep taking the actions and keep improving by 1% every day. When in doubt, zoom out. Love you guys. Have a great weekend. Talk to you on Monday. Tim Learn How To Build a Profitable Local SEO AgencyJoin the Agency Clarity Launchpad.
