In my experience, steak dinners are usually associated with special occasions. Whether it was for a holiday, a social gathering, or a celebration, there always had to be some reason to eat it. While it’s certainly not something you’d have every day of the week, I don’t think there needs to be a special reason to enjoy it. Today’s steak recipe is ready in just 30 minutes, so you can easily throw it together after work!

Steak salad and cherry-balsamic salsa |
Do cherries and steak go together? If you’re inclined to say no, this recipe may change your mind. With almost 45 grams of protein and just 20 grams of carbs per serving, there’s a lot to love about this steak dinner. The strip steak is tossed in olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt, and pepper, and cooked to your preference. It’s served on top of butter lettuce and topped with a cherry salsa and sunflower seeds. |
The cherry salsa is made with balsamic vinegar, cherries, basil, and red onions. Cherries contain important nutrients, such as vitamin C and antioxidants. They are also associated with health benefits like improving sleep, supporting heart health, and boosting exercise recovery. |
