Officers responded for the report of larceny. The reporting party stated that an unknown male entered the business, went behind the desk, stole credit cards and cash from their personal belongings, left the business, and made multiple unauthorized purchases. (2025-8661)

Officers determined that the same subject was involved in a separate larceny from April 29th (see 2025-6393). On June 10th the suspect was identified and arrested during a burglary investigation (see 2025-8689 below)

Officers responded for the report of larceny. The reporting party stated that an unknown male entered the business, took multiple items, and left the business without rendering payment. DUI Arrest

4000 Block of Maple Street

June 10, 2025 • 1:11 a.m. 

Officers responded for the report of a hit and run. Upon arrival at the scene, officers observed two damaged vehicles, one parked and one with an individual sitting in the driver's seat. The investigation revealed that one of the drivers was under the influence of alcohol. During the course of the investigation, the driver became aggressive, assaulted two police officers, and resisted arrest. Fernando Bozo-Castillo, 35, of Fairfax was arrested and transported to Fairfax County Adult Detention Center where he was charged with Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol, Refusal, Hit and Run, Obstruction, and Assault on a Law Enforcement Officer. Bozo-Castillo was held without bond. No injuries were reported. (2025-8674)


Burglary Arrest

Mosby Tower, 10560 Main St.

June 10, 2025 • 12:01 p.m. 

Officers responded for the report of a burglary. The reporting party stated that an unknown male was attempting to force entry into businesses within the building. Officers located the subject nearby. Investigation revealed that the subject was a suspect in two separate City of Fairfax larceny cases (2025-6393 and 2025-8661) and was also wanted out of Fairfax County.

Antwone Young, 38, of Alexandria was arrested and transported to Fairfax County Adult Detention Center where he was charged with charged with Burglary, Possession of Stolen Credit Cards, 10 counts of Attempted Credit Card Fraud, 5 Counts of Credit Card Larceny, Credit Card Fraud, and Petit Larceny. Young was also served his outstanding Fairfax County warrant for Probation Violation. Young was held without bond. (2025-8689)


Assault

June 10, 2025 • 7:40 p.m. 

Officers responded for the report of an assault. The reporting party stated that a unknown male punched him in the face three times when he tried to use a basketball court that was already in use and sustained minor injuries. The accused stated he punched the reporting party in retaliation for being shoved in the face. Both parties declined to press charges. There is no further information at this time. (2025-8709)

Officers responded for the report of a larceny. The reporting party stated a known male entered the business, stole an item, and left the business without rendering payment. Officers located the subject later in the day. Steven Tsimbidis, 53, of No Fixed Address was arrested and transported to Fairfax County Adult Detention Center where he was charged with Petit Larceny. Tsimbidis was released on an unsecured bond. (2025-8724)


Warrant Service Arrest

University Drive and North Street

June 11, 2025 • 10:27 a.m. 

Officers received information on the location of subject wanted out of the City of Fairfax for Probation Violation. Officers located and pursued the subject, who fled on foot. Basim Jami, 63, of No Fixed Address was arrested  and transported to Fairfax County Adult Detention Center where he was served the warrant for Probation Violation. Jami was held on no bond. DUI Arrest

An officer conducting traffic enforcement observed a vehicle driving in the opposite flow of traffic and conducted a traffic stop. The investigation revealed that the driver was under the influence of alcohol. Toby Lee, 36, of Centreville was arrested and transported to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center where he was charged with Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol. Lee was held until he was deemed sober. (2025-8842)

Wearing a Mask in a Public Place

9509 Fairfax Blvd.

June 13, 2025 • 11:58 p.m. 

Officers were alerted to an armed carjacking that just occurred at a nearby address in Fairfax County. An officer spotted a subject wearing a ski mask that matched the suspect's description near the 9509 Fairfax Blvd. The subject was detained and confirmed to be the suspect in the carjacking. Derrick Alexander, 24, of Stafford was arrested and transported to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center where he was charged with Wearing a Mask in a Public Place. Fairfax County Police also charged Alexander accordingly. Alexander was held on no bond. (2025-8915)


Robbery Arrest

7-Eleven, 10008 Main St.

June 14, 2025 • 12:07 p.m. 

Officers responded for the report of a disorderly subject inside of the business. The reporting party stated that an unknown male entered the business, assaulted an employee, and took merchandise. No injuries were reported. Officers located the subject nearby. Tyquan Morrison, 23, of No Fixed Address was arrested and transported to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center where he was charged with Robbery, Obstruction of Justice, Trespassing, and Assault.
