Filming in S-Log3 is a double-edged sword.

You get incredible dynamic range and flexibility from your Sony camera, but the tradeoff is a flat, desaturated image that’s tough to expose and white balance in camera.

Sony tried to fix this with Gamma Display Assist, which added some contrast and saturation to your preview. The problem though was it wasn’t customizable and only gave you a basic look at your footage.

That’s why the new Sony a7S III 4.0 firmware update is a game-changer.

Sony finally added custom LUT support to the a7S III!

Now you can load your own LUTs right onto your camera and see an exact preview of your color-graded footage while you shoot. No more guesswork. No surprises in post.

And if you’re not sure how to set it up, I’ll walk you through it.

I just updated my a7S III Pro Video Guide with brand new lessons showing you exactly how to install and use custom LUTs on your camera.

Even better, the course is 20% off for the next couple of days.
