A Message from the PTA President
Dear Hunt Valley Families,
Join us tomorrow for Trunk or Treat! I don’t know about your home, but in mine the excitement level is reaching a fever pitch. You’ll be able to spot us at the event as Spidey and His Amazing Friends! There’s still a need for candy donation (to the bin at the school front entrance door) and volunteers for the event. Our Direct Donation campaign to fund the school mural has begun! We are so excited to be able to bring this beautification project to Hunt Valley’s lobby. Check out the mural mock up below in this email, if you haven’t already seen it. I personally can’t wait to take a picture of my kids in front of the wings each year to see how much they’ve grown. Please consider contributing to our cause! Click here to donate.

- 5:45-6:15 Event Begins with Sensory Friendly time!
- 7:15 Event ends with prizes for the top three trunks
THERE’S STILL TIME TO DROP OFF CANDY AND NON-CANDY DONATIONS!
Please bring items to the bin at the main entrance of Hunt Valley.

Reflections Art Contest
 2025-2026 Reflections theme, “I Belong!”
Categories: Literature, Photography, or Visual Arts
Divisions: Primary (K–Grade 2), Intermediate (Grades 3–5), Middle (Grades 6–8), Accessible Arts (all grades welcome).
The submission window is open until Friday, November 7th.
Please turn in art and entry forms to the library. Students can have multiple submissions. Please include a separate entry form with each submission. Student entry forms, program rules, and category specific information can be found on the PTA website under “Docs & Photos”, in the “Reflections” folder.

A limited number of hard copies are available to pick up from the school lobby bulletin board.
Submissions will be judged by community members with backgrounds in the arts. First place winners in each category will advance to compete in a county wide competition.

Donation Drive for School Beautification Project
Thanks so much to all who purchased Krispy Kreme donuts last Friday during our kick off of our donation campaign! We made over $500 toward our $4,000 goal! Please help keep the momentum going with a donation of any size.

Pyramid Challenge needs volunteers!
The Pyramid Challenge volunteer sign-up is live and we need volunteers from Hunt Valley to work at the check-in table, as well as volunteer more broadly to support the event.
