The Sunshine Scoop

Autumn has arrived, and the Green Team gets busy! The crisp air tells us that fall is officially here, and our wonderful Green Team is back in action! They've been working hard, putting on their gloves and getting muddy to clean out our raised garden beds located in our school courtyard. It's important to tidy up the old plants to get ready for new ones. Not only that, but they also helped replant some beautiful bushes in our school's sunny courtyard. Thanks to our dedicated Green Team, our school is looking neat, clean, and ready for a colorful autumn! They will continue to work on projects this school year to include planting and recycling efforts outside and around Louise Archer.

Sincerely,

Michelle Makrigiorgos, Principal

Jennifer Condra, Assistant Principal

Veterans Day - Recognition

Do you have a family member who serves or has served in a branch of the United States Armed Forces? Louise Archer will honor all those who serve or have served in our nation's military during the week of Veterans Day 2025. Take a moment to complete the form below and your family member's information will be written on a star and displayed in the school. If you have multiple children wanting to recognize one veteran, the oldest child will be given the star to fill out and can add the names of younger siblings to it. Please complete this form by Friday, October 31st.  Our Louise Archer students and staff will be excited to have the loved ones of our community honored and on display for the school to see. Thank you to all of our veterans for your service!

Lost and Found

Please see the picture above to identify any lost clothing items that might belong to your child. You or your child can stop the lobby located inside Door 10 to claim any lost items from our lost and found area.

Kiss and Ride Safety Reminders

We appreciate that over 75 students rely on our Kiss and Ride line daily, and safety is our top priority! Lately, we’ve noticed a hazardous practice where drivers, immediately after drop-off or pick-up, are pulling out of the established lane and driving around the line of waiting cars to exit the lot. We know everyone is eager to move quickly, but this maneuver significantly increases the risk of an accident involving students or other vehicles.

If you utilize the Kiss and Ride line, please remain in the single line of traffic flow until you reach the designated parking lot exit. Your patience ensures a predictable and safe environment for our entire community.
