A while back, Jaye and I paid down a big chunk of debt. 


While browsing Reddit for personal finance inspiration - we noticed the same basic advice being shared over and over again. 


Emergency fund. Pay down CC debt. Make a budget. 


The same thing happens in the fitness world. Stop trying to find a way around it. 


Control your calorie intake. Lift weights. Stay active. 


Step 2 - Shut up about it and start doing it 


You tell yourself it's 'research'


Watching videos. Reading blogs. Calculating goals. Finding the right program.


Bullshit. Get out of your own way. 


All true learning is on the job. Life is lived in the arena. 


Pull the trigger. Start today. 


You might think this sounds harsh, douchey, or oversimplified. 


But anyone who's been there will tell you I'm right. 


Step 3 - Repeat


My coffee grinder turns beans into ground coffee. 


You need to grind your big goals into tiny actions you can repeat on a daily basis.


Or you can keep gathering more information until you feel ready.


But you already know how that ends.
