Admin Avenue
Dear Olde Creek Families,
What a great week at Olde Creek! Last week's Woodson Homecoming Parade was such a fun community event, and it was wonderful to see so many of our Bears along the parade route cheering and waving. A big thank you to our amazing Student Ambassadors for proudly representing Olde Creek and marching in the parade- you made us all so proud!
Tonight is our PTA Halloween Howl! We can’t wait to see our Bears in their costumes for a fun evening together. Please make sure you have your tickets ahead of time. A friendly reminder that this is not a drop-off event; all students must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Next week brings a few important schedule notes:
- We will have two early release days. Please be mindful of these schedule changes. (October 29th is a 3-hr ER day and October 31st is a 2-hr ER day.)
-
Friday, October 31st marks the end of the first quarter.
- There will be no school for students on Monday, November 3rd, and Tuesday, November 4th.
Thank you for your continued partnership and for helping make Olde Creek such a special place to learn and grow.
With gratitude and school spirit,
Courtney, Stephanie and Matt OCES Admin Team

Fairfax County Public Schools recognizes outstanding employees at all levels. Once again this year, all schools in FCPS are encouraged to nominate Outstanding Employees. You may nominate an employee in one or more categories. All that is required for a preliminary nomination is a paragraph or two about how this employee demonstrates exceptional work in the criteria for that category.
We are asking you, the Olde Creek community, to help us gather names for this process. Thank you for participating and helping us recognize the outstanding qualities of our staff members.

Bond Referendums Support Communities
The building and renovation of Fairfax County public schools is not funded through the division’s annual operating budget. Voter-approved bonds allow payment for these projects over time.
