Show up at the Community Engagement Summit on Nov 5, 7:00-8:30pm at Louise Archer Elementary School, hosted by me, Fairfax County School Board Member, Melanie Meren.
Here’s what to expect:

Understand how our public schools are funded: I’ll relay simply Virginia’s complex funding process and identify who is involved in funding decisions.

Discuss how we as individuals and a community support children and public education, and fortify the public’s investments made in Fairfax.

Prepare to speak up for the success of our community. Learn about how you can advocate, including at specific upcoming opportunities here in Fairfax where showing up and speaking up can make the difference! You are needed!
The event will be held at Louise Archer Elementary School, 324 Nutley St NW, Vienna, VA 22180. The parking and entrance will be on the right side of the building when facing the school, near the playground.
