The Student Ambassadors have planned an awesome Fall Spirit Week for Fort Belvoir Upper School! Get your outfits ready to show off your Dolphin pride all week long!
Here is the daily lineup:
Monday, Oct. 27: PJ Day — Come dressed in your comfiest pajamas!
Tuesday, Oct. 28: Dolphin Pride — Wear your Dolphin gear or Fort Belvoir Upper attire!
Wednesday, Oct. 29: Wicked Wednesday — Are you team Pink (Glinda) or Green (Elphaba)? Keep your eyes peeled for a scavenger hunt!
Thursday, Oct. 30: Pop-Stars vs. All-Stars — Dress like your favorite singer/pop star OR wear a jersey to show off your favorite athlete or sports team!
Friday, Oct. 31: Book Character Day — Dress up like your favorite book character (most costumes have a book, so get creative!)!
We can't wait to see your spirit!
As we are approaching Veteran’s Day, it is important to our community that we honor the veterans in our lives. This year we are honoring our veterans by hanging pictures of them throughout the school! Your child should have received a blank half-sheet poster in their Thursday folder. On the poster, your child can complete the sentences about their veteran(s) and include a photograph of the veteran(s) in their life. If you do not have a photograph or do not want to include one, your child may draw a picture. Please note all photographs will be returned to your child after Veteran's Day! We kindly ask that students return their completed posters to their teachers by October 23rd. Thank you for your participation in this activity!
Respectfully,
Mrs. Bryan, Military & Family Life Counselor
Ms. Jackson, Military & Family Life Counselor
Mrs. Elliot, Family Liaison

✅ Return Your Federal Impact Aid Survey
FCPS is asking all families to fill out a Federal Impact Aid Survey. The form is available in SIS ParentVUE under Online Packets, which is in the upper right corner of the screen after logging in. Please complete it as soon as possible. We will provide paper forms to families who have not completed the survey in ParentVUE starting Wednesday, November 12.
Completing this form for each school-aged child in every household is important. This year, FCPS expects to receive approximately $4 million in Impact Aid funding. These funds are used to support all Fairfax County public schools and centers.
For more information, visit the Federal Impact Aid Survey page.
