 2026 is right around the corner; new year means new spirit wear from the PTA Spirit Store! We’ve got fresh gear for students, families, and fans—t-shirts, hoodies, and more. Registration for the 2026 Sangster PTA Spelling Bee is now open! The Sangster PTA Spelling Bee is open to 3rd through 6th grade students and will be held in the Sangster Cafeteria on Wednesday, January 21, 2026 (6:00–9:00 p.m.).
All interested students must register in advance for the Bee. Final day of registration is Sunday, December 21, 2025. No registrations will be accepted after Sunday, December 21, 2025.
The winner of the Sangster Spelling Bee will go on to compete with the other local school spelling bee champions at the Fairfax County Spelling Bee on March 22, 2026, at Lake Braddock Secondary School. More details to come!

 The Sangster PTA is excited to host its 2026 Science Fair March 2–4!
Participation is optional and is open to all students (K–6). Projects should be worked on at home, under parental supervision, and may be completed independently or with siblings or other partners.
Students will tour the displays in the gym with their class during school hours on March 3 and 4. Families are invited to view projects in person on the evening of March 3 from 6–7pm.

We are always looking for volunteers! Please take the time to complete the FCPS Volunteer Screening and fill out the Google Volunteer form so that we can add you to our email distribution list.
Sangster Administration has a need for library volunteers and cafe volunteers as well as occasional opportunities like picture day, field day, etc. Please complete the FCPS Volunteer screening to be considered for these events. Opportunities go out to the email list and also get posted to Facebook.

You are invited to join the unofficial Facebook group for the Sangster community, Sangster Parents. Please note that anyone who requests to join, including someone added by an existing group member, must answer the membership questions and check the box indicating agreement to abide by the group rules.
