Iza,

I wanted to drop into your inbox today with a personal sharing… something tender, real, and so present in my heart.

Last week, I stepped into one of the deepest healing processes I’ve experienced in a long time. We traveled to see a team of integrated specialists, both chiropractic and orthodontic experts for children, to support my daughter’s postural and developmental growth.

What I didn’t expect was how much this journey would also become mine.

As many of you know, the last two years have been challenging for us, waves of illness, recurring flus, exhaustion, and what felt like a long, low season as a family. Yes, it was part of her developmental stage… but it was also emotionally and energetically draining for all of us.

I wanted to shift the energy. I wanted to elevate the frequency we operate from as a family. And I wanted to understand what her body was asking for.

What became clear, very quickly, was this:

The mother is the network.

My child's healing required my healing.

And so, as the specialists worked with my daughter, they began working with me too, helping me release trauma stored in my body, unwind patterns of protection, and soften into a deeper level of care, presence, and trust.

It was a week of being held, seen, and loved… not only as a mother, but as a woman who also needed healing, rest, and restoration.

And it reminded me of something essential:

As mothers, we hold so much. We keep everything together. We tend to everyone’s needs. And we rarely, so rarely, tend to our own.

We ignore our pain.

We override our exhaustion.

We silence our body.

Because the timing never feels “right.”

Because we think we must keep going.

But last week, I put my foot in the sand and said:

“No. I matter. I need time. I need support. I need healing.”

And the moment I chose myself, everything shifted. My daughter felt safer. My partner opened up. Our family system softened and recalibrated.

It was the reminder I deeply needed:

When you dare to claim what you need, honour your boundaries and choose yourself, the Universe provides.

Next week, I want to support you through the holiday season with episodes that truly nourish, empower, and guide you.
