But everyone builds their wealth at a different pace. It took me 10 years of hard work to become a millionaire. So, just because you aren’t a millionaire yet, it doesn’t mean you’ll never be one. You’re probably doing much better than you think. But if you’ve still not convinced, here’s three tips to focus on if you start to feel behind financially: Tip One: Don’t Compare Yourself To Others.We all have our own path to walk, so it’s useless to compare yourself with others. As long as you’re improving on what you’ve done before, then you’re going in the right direction. If you do this for enough years, then you’ll look back and be shocked at how far you’ve come. Just focus on taking those baby steps, and don’t get distracted by focusing on what everyone else is doing. Tip Two: Become Immune to Net WorthLook, I’m going to be honest. Net worth doesn’t actually mean anything. Here’s why… In my opinion, how much money you have isn’t what matters. What matters are the skills, knowledge and confidence you acquire while you are building your empire. Someone could have bought a meme coin in the last crypto bull run and cashed out billions. This doesn’t mean they know anything useful, and how to actually replicate that success. The same goes for lottery winners. They often lose the money they won very rapidly, as they became rich because of a shortcut, not the skills they developed. You’re far more than the size of your bank account. Tip Three: Always Be The StudentEven at 58, whenever I meet someone new, I challenge myself to learn something from them. This helps me stay humble because when you get to my age it’s good to remember that you still don’t know everything. If you get into the habit of constantly learning, then I guarantee you’ll make far more money. But, we’re taught the opposite in the western world. We’re told to go to school until we’re about 18, then choose a college or university and go there for 3 years, then your learning is done. That means most people stop learning when they are in their 20’s which slows their progress in life. zxcv, what specific skill are you trying to master right now?
