Good morning Wypierdalaj, There's a quick chance for a coating of snow tonight but what we're eyeing is a big storm this weekend that will bring more snow to New England. Other news we're following includes Needham astronaut Suni Williams retiring, an ICE protest in Boston, and a court appearance for the Massachusetts man accused in a racist incident at a Lunenburg lake last year. | Frigid start today, plus what do we know about looming snowstorm this weekend? |
It’s a busy couple of days, with a looming storm for the weekend. Our first order of business is trying to warm things up. Temps will recover after a frigid start, but our daytime limit will keep us in the 20s. Late into the evening, our temps will get a second wind – spiking into the mid-30s well after dark. Some light snow, mix, and rain will scoot through before midnight, and some spots may pick up a quick inch in the higher elevations. Elsewhere, it’s at most a coating. |

The rally brought together unions, socialist groups, pro-immigrant organizations, and first-time protesters. Despite freezing temperatures, demonstrators filled the square before marching toward Boston Common. Joe Tache with the Party for Socialism and Liberation said the movement against the administration’s policies has continued to grow over the past year. |
