WIDA Testing
Multilingual learners will be engaging in WIDA Testing on assigned days in February and March. The WIDA test helps teachers understand your child’s English growth so the right support can be provided. More information can be found by clicking here.
Parent informational sessions will be held on Tuesday, January 27 and Wednesday, January 28. Please be on the lookout for a TalkingPoints text from the school next week.
Support the HMS Food Pantry
The HMS Food Pantry serves nearly 150 students and families every two weeks. Help keep it stocked by donating through our Amazon Wish List, featuring items most needed by our community. Purchases ship directly to the school, and every donation makes a difference.

Herndon High Dance Team Winter Clinic
The Herndon Dance Team is hosting a Winter Clinic on January 30th from 8:00 AM–1:00 PM in the Herndon High School gym. Open to students in grades 2–8, the clinic costs $65 (cash or check) and includes a free T-shirt. Participants will learn performance poms and have a basketball game performance opportunity.

Help support Herndon Middle School After-School Intramurals. Volunteers are needed to referee the after-school games.
