Are you ready for the snow? Nearly 35 states are in the path of a winter storm that could last from today into Monday. We hope you and your family stay safe—and get to have some snow-day fun. If your child wants to build a snowman, give them this tip we recently published in the magazine: Flatten the tops of the base and the middle where they join. Then pack extra snow into any gaps. 1. NASA moved its Space Launch System rocket and Orion spacecraft to the launchpad at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida on January 17. The move took nearly 12 hours and was a key step in the Artemis II mission to send a crewed spacecraft around the Moon as soon as in February. Would you be excited to go to the Moon? Why or why not? 

2. The risks of using AI in schools may outweigh the benefits, according to a new study by the Brookings Institution. The study examined AI use in 50 countries and found that while it can help with reading and writing, it can decrease students’ abilities in other areas, such as forming an argument from their own perspective. 3. Americans eat about 7 billion cookies a year. While some people say softer is superior, others contend that crispy is the classic. What type of cookie do you think is better? Your child can vote in our big debate!
