Happy Friday!
I hope everyone stays warm and safe as we prepare for what could be a significant snow accumulation in our region this weekend. FCPS will share any closure or delay announcements through their website and social media accounts. Information about online learning activities will also be provided should a closure occur, and many grade levels will be sending home homework packets or choice board options to support continued learning.
This week, students participated in the Speak Up, Be Safe program, part of Fairfax County’s Body Safety Program. This curriculum focuses on teaching children about personal safety and helping them recognize risks such as abuse and bullying. Please be sure to ask your child about what they learned during this lesson.
