With likely snow days next week, and teacher workdays/student holidays on Thursday and Friday, every student in preK-6 is bringing home an iPad or laptop/charger. ST Math and Lexia are two websites that all students in preK-6 use. There are other sites and learning opportunities on the Camelot Student Site. The FCPS Snow Day activities webpage also has age-appropriate activities.
Students should be mindful of the FCPS Acceptable Use policy and only access school-appropriate sites. This is good time to talk with students about their digital footprint and the record that their computer keeps of their computer activity.
Information about changes to the school day because of weather will be shared by FCPS via email, text message, the FCPS Social Media pages, the FCPS App, and through local media outlets. The FCPS Weather Cancellations Procedures webpage has additional ways to get updates regarding school closures and delays.
Please join us for our staff-sponsored Science Night from 6:30-7:30pm on Thursday, February 12. This event is for all ages and will take place in the Camelot Cafeteria and Gym. Walk around to observe and participate in a variety of demonstrations and experiments. All children should be accompanied by an adult. This event is free.
