Dear Lake Anne Families,
With winter weather in the forecast, we want to remind families to closely monitor local news and www.fcps.edu for the most up-to-date information regarding any potential school delays or closures. FCPS will communicate weather-related decisions as soon as they are made.
To ensure students have access to learning materials in the event of any interruption to in-person instruction, students are bringing home their school-issued laptop or iPad and charger today.
Families may also explore the county’s Winter Weather Resources, which include optional enrichment activities, at-home learning ideas, and ways for students to stay engaged on a potential snow day. These resources are available on the district’s Snow Day Activities webpage and will also be shared through school communications.
Reminder: Students are responsible for caring for their assigned device. Devices should be returned after winter weather fully functional and ready for instruction.
