Dear Beech Tree Families,
It is hard to believe that February is right around the corner. Next week marks the end of the second quarter and the midpoint of the school year. As teachers finalize instruction and assessments, we are incredibly proud of the effort our Beavers demonstrate each day as they work toward their academic goals. Thank you for your continued partnership in supporting learning at home, especially as we approach the close of the grading period. Your support makes a meaningful difference. We truly appreciate it.
As we head into the weekend, the weather forecast is calling for possible snow. Please continue to monitor the weather and stay tuned to official Fairfax County Public Schools communications regarding any potential delays or closures. The Weather Cancellations Procedures webpage is linked below: https://www.fcps.edu/weather
Last evening, families received a message from Dr. Reid regarding student devices coming home in preparation for the potential storm. While there will not be remote learning if school is closed, there are FCPS instructional resources students may access. This is not required, but does provide opportunity for a continuation of learning. Students may access some or all of the educational sites listed below utilizing their school technology devices.
