Many people in their 20s say it is increasingly difficult to build a life here. Housing costs continue to rise, career paths are shifting, there is no happy hour and dating here can be rough. Many young professionals are asking themselves whether Boston is a place they can realistically stay long term.
In this Boston Globe Community Conversation, Globe journalists will moderate a discussion about what it actually takes to build a life in Boston today. We will talk about housing, work, social life, and the choices young people face about whether to stay in Boston or find a more affordable place to call home.
