The ceasefire between Israel and Lebanon will be extended by three weeks, President Donald Trump announced.

The decision comes after a meeting attended by Trump, Vice President JD Vance, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, the Lebanese and Israeli ambassadors to the U.S. and other officials.

"The Meeting went very well! The United States is going to work with Lebanon in order to help it protect itself from Hezbollah," Trump wrote on Truth Social.
