Government's compensation and financial recognition schemes

Our recent report Government's compensation and financial recognition schemes looked at how some prominent schemes have handled claims from people who have experienced harm. 


The report looked at the Windrush scheme, the Horizon schemes, the Infected Blood scheme and LGBT financial recognition. 


It found that £3.5 billion had been paid out so far, with an estimated £11.4 billion still to be disbursed. And there is still more work to do to identify all those who may be eligible so that they receive the redress they deserve.
