The initiative will focus on tracking graduates' success in the labor market, helping institutions measure their value to students and improving transparency.

Texas A&M University System has launched an AI-driven student engagement platform in partnership with Mainstay to provide personalized guidance to Pell Grant-eligible students. The initiative required significant collaboration across departments to reduce data silos and improve infrastructure. A notable early success was maintaining contact with students who stopped out, and the university plans to expand the chatbot's capabilities to include mental health support and other interventions.

The Education Department has introduced a real-time identity verification tool for Free Application for Federal Student Aid applicants to combat fraud.
