Dear Cedar Lane Families,
Building a supportive and caring environment for our students is at the heart of everything we do. Today, I am writing to share some news regarding a transition within our school health team that involves both a heartfelt farewell and a warm welcome.
We want to inform you that our beloved Clinic Room Aide, Ms. Frances Adkison, has been reassigned to a new post within Fairfax County Public Schools. While we are sad to see her leave the halls of Cedar Lane, we are incredibly grateful for the dedication, compassion, and care she has provided to our students and staff during her time here.
We wish her the very best in her new role and know that her next community is very lucky to have her.
As we bid farewell to Ms. Frances, we are thrilled to introduce the newest member of our health team, Ms. Beverley Zimunya.
Ms. Beverley joins us with a commitment to student wellness and a passion for supporting the health needs of our school. She is eager to get to know our students and families, and we are confident that she will be a wonderful addition to the Cedar Lane family.
Our priority remains the health and safety of your children. Ms. Beverley and our entire health services staff are working closely together to ensure a seamless transition.
