Google TV launched a centralized hub to help soccer fans find live matches, upcoming games and highlights from the World Cup and professional leagues. The platform also introduced advanced Gemini voice command features on select TCL TV models designed to allow users to more easily adjust audio and video settings as well as troubleshoot issues.

General Motors plans to develop autonomous vehicles that can operate as robotaxis, despite shutting down its $10 billion Cruise robotaxi division in 2024. Sterling Anderson, former head of Tesla's Autopilot, is spearheading a highway-first approach, expanding GM's Super Cruise system to eventually match robotaxi capabilities. The initiative involves rehiring former Cruise employees and aims for eyes-off highway driving by 2028.
