Summer Learning Resources for Families
Instructional Services is supporting student learning over the summer. Resources are being curated on the Summer Learning Resources Webpage for students and families to review and practice previously taught content throughout the summer months.
Resources are organized by grade level and aligned to the learning students experienced during the school year. Families can access the materials at any time to review concepts, practice skills, or explore new ideas at home. One of the resources being provided to help students in Grades 3, 4, 5, and 6 to develop keyboarding skills this summer is TypingClub, which will be accessible through Clever.
Summer Office Hours: Our main office will be open over the summer from 9 am till 1:00 pm on regular business days.

School News
- The last day for laptop return was June 16th. If you did not check out your laptop for the summer, please note you will have $600 obligation. You can return your laptop to the West Potomac main office on Monday-Friday 9a-12pm.
- Lost Chargers: A replacement fee of $29 applies, payable via MySchoolBucks.
- If you are returning to West Potomac HS for the 2026-2027 school year, you can fill out the Summer Checkout Form. Students can access this form using their fcpsschools.net account.
- Summer School: If you are attending (or plan to attend) summer school, you must complete the checkout form to ensure your laptop remains active.
