Student Volunteer Spotlight

McLean High School students volunteered with Bright Beats, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides free and inclusive music programs for children with diverse learning and communication needs. Through afterschool music sessions featuring sing-alongs, rhythm activities, movement, and instrument, play volunteers helped foster joy, connection, and inclusion. Their dedication made a meaningful impact on the children they served while helping the volunteers strengthen empathy, leadership, and real-world community engagement skills.
