Compliance technology has become a strategic focus for HR as AI integration expands, according to a Norwest report. "Most organizations deployed AI tools in HR before putting governance frameworks in place," the report says. "Legal experts advise mapping where candidate and employee data flows into AI systems before deployment, building bias audits into vendor procurement, rather than retrofitting them after a complaint arrives."

Investors favor HR tech firms with proven growth
The HR technology sector is experiencing a disciplined recovery, with investors favoring companies demonstrating sustained, profitable growth. Major funding rounds include Perk's $300 million credit facility, Factorial's $150 million Series D, Multiverse's $70 million primary funding and Kashable's $60 million Series C. Corporate jargon is impeding decision-making and employee engagement, according to a study by Cornell University. The research introduces the Corporate "BS" Receptivity Scale, which shows that employees susceptible to vague corporate language perform worse in workplace decision-making. "When you're not communicating in a clear and concise manner, you're less effective," says Frederick King, a business communication instructor at Dalhousie University. "I think people recognize it too, when they see it, and they're more likely to call it out."
