A Message from the Principal
Dear Centre Ridge Families,
As we end the school year there are always amazing people to say farewell to as they start new adventures.
Marcus Adkison, PE Teacher- Mr. Adkison will be working closer to home.
Jeongwon Bae, Band Teacher- Ms. Bae has been placed at another school for the 2026-2027 school year
Dr. Deborah Brown-Brom, School Counselor- Dr. Brown-Brom plans to continue working in a part-time capacity at other FCPS schools.
Christopher Chung, Special Education Support Staff- Mr. Chung has accepted a Special Education Teacher position at Waples Mill Elementary.
Catherine D' Ercole, Tutor- Ms. DeCole has accepted a school counseling position in FCPS.
Tom Gill, Special Education Teacher- Mr. Gill is returning to Arlington County to teach at the middle school level.
Molly Henry, Strings Teacher- Ms. Henry has been placed at another school for the 2026-2027 school year.
Jamie Hoover-Haney, Instructional Assistant- Ms.Hoover-Haney has accepted a teaching position.
Abby Laitinen, Enhanced Autism Class Teacher- Ms. Laitinen has accepted a Special Education Teacher position at Laurel Ridge Elementary.
Kiera Lyons, Grade 4 Teacher- Ms. Lyons has accepted an ESOL position in Prince William County Schools.
Molly Meranda, Grade 6 Teacher- Ms. Miranda has accepted a middle school math teaching position in Chesterfield County Public Schools.
Andrea Zimlicki, Reading Resource Teacher- Ms. Zimlicki has accepted a reading teacher position at Skyview High School.
Lora Rochester, Grade 2 Teacher- Mrs. Rochester is retiring after 31 years of teaching.
Summer Office Hours
Our office will close today at 2:00 pm for our End of the Year Celebration. Tomorrow we will resume normal business hours. Beginning Monday, June 22, 2026, the Centre Ridge Office will be open Monday - Friday from 9:00 am - 2:00 pm.
