VESMP Fee Changes Effective July 1, 2026
The City of Fairfax will update the fees for Virginia Erosion and Sediment Management Plan (VESMP) permits effective July 1, 2026. This update is being made to ensure the City’s fees align with the Virginia Dept of Environmental Quality (DEQ) permit requirements. The revised fees will apply to both local and state VESMP applications. New site plans submitted on or after July 1 will be subject to the updated fee schedule.
Moving forward, VESMP fees will be reviewed and adjusted annually to match the DEQ rates.
