Message from Principal Peace

Parents, Guardians and Students,

Before you head off to enjoy your summer, I want to thank you for making this school year one to remember. It has been a joy to watch our students learn, grow, and achieve so much because of your dedication, kindness, and partnership.

As I close this chapter after five wonderful years as your principal, my heart is filled with gratitude. Thank you to our incredible staff for your unwavering commitment to our students, your collaboration, and your willingness to always do what is best for children. Thank you to our families for trusting us, partnering with us, and supporting our school community every step of the way. Most of all, thank you to our amazing students. Getting to know each of you has been the greatest privilege of my career. Your smiles, curiosity, resilience, and joy have made every day worthwhile.

Serving this school has been an honor that I will always cherish. While I am excited for retirement and the adventures ahead, I will forever carry the memories, friendships, and experiences we’ve shared together. Once a Kanga always a Kanga!

I wish each of you a summer filled with rest, laughter, adventure, and time with those you love. Continue to read, explore, play, and make wonderful memories. I know this school has a bright future because of the incredible people who make it such a special place.

Thank you for allowing me to be part of your story. It has truly been one of the greatest blessings of my life.

Your Proud Principal

Linda Peace

Summer Learning

Summer Learning

FCPS Summer Learning Resources are now available for students and families. Resources are organized by grade level and provide opportunities for students to review previously taught concepts, practice skills, and explore new ideas throughout the summer.

Families can access the resources at any time as one of many ways to support continued learning and engagement over the summer.

Additional resources will continue to be added throughout June.
