A Note from the Principal
Dear Daniels Run Families,
As we close the doors on another incredible school year, I want to take a moment to thank our students, staff, and families for making Daniels Run such a special place to learn, grow, and belong.
The final week of school was filled with celebrations, traditions, and memories that remind us just how fortunate we are to be part of this community. We said goodbye to an amazing sixth-grade class, many of whom have called Daniels Run home since kindergarten. Over the years, they have grown into confident leaders, role models, and caring members of our school family. We are proud of all they have accomplished and excited to see the great things they will do in middle school and beyond.
We also celebrated our kindergarten students as they were promoted to first grade. Their joyful songs, smiling faces, and excitement for the future were a wonderful reminder of the growth that takes place each year at Daniels Run. It seems like only yesterday they were walking through our doors for the very first time.
One of the most meaningful moments of the week was watching our sixth graders walk the halls of Daniels Run one last time. There were hugs, tears, laughter, and plenty of excitement about summer and the adventures that lie ahead. These traditions remind us that while students may leave our halls, they will always remain part of the Daniels Run family.
As I reflect on this school year, I am filled with gratitude for the partnership we share. Together, we have celebrated successes, overcome challenges, and created countless opportunities for our students to learn and thrive. Thank you for your support, your trust, and your commitment to our school community.
I hope everyone enjoys a safe, relaxing, and fun-filled summer. Whether your plans include travel, camps, time with family and friends, or simply enjoying a slower pace, I hope you find opportunities to rest, recharge, and make wonderful memories.
We look forward to welcoming our Dragons back in the fall for another year of learning, growth, and success.
Have a wonderful summer!
Warm regards,
Susan Mullen, Principal
