Here's something I do with every new coaching client A...
Whether their goals are fat loss, muscle gain, or just health improvement.
I ask them these questions first:
Why do you think you haven't figured this out yet?
What have you actually tried in the past?
What's been missing?
Then after their first week in the program:
What went well, where did you struggle, and what would make next week a win?
After years of asking those questions, I've noticed almost nobody has been asked any of this before.
Think about that for a sec. Most guys have read the articles, watched the videos, bought the programs. They're drowning in answers.
What they've never had is someone ask them the right questions.
Because when a guy tells me what he's tried in the past, it's always the same story.
Keto. Cutting carbs. Some crazy 10-day rotating program he couldn't sustain. Fasting. Complicated stuff that was never going to last.
And when I ask why he hasn't figured it out, he actually sits with it.
"I never stuck with anything long enough"
"I'd start strong and fall off"
"Life got busy"
Now we're really talking.
Notes app or notepad and actually answer these:
Why do you think you haven't figured this out yet?
What's been missing?
Don't rush it.
The answer is usually the thing you've been avoiding looking at.
And once you can name it, you can finally fix the right problem instead of collecting more answers you never needed.
That's most of what I do as a coach, by the way.
Less handing people information, more asking the questions that get them unstuck.
If that's the kind of help you've been missing, just reply to this email and tell me what you came up with. I read every one.
Talk soon,
Matteo
p.s. if you already know what's been missing is having someone in your corner week to week - that's what I do, details here
