Hey Tomasz, Two new shapes today, and they're opposites: the biggest stretch so far, and the laziest chord in the book. The new course puts both of them on day 11, shapes only, no pattern. The full G I teach, and its complete opposite. Everyone builds that G bottom-up and runs out of hand. Build it backwards instead: Pinky first. Then ring, middle, index. The shape falls in around the finger that is hardest to place. And Am7 is the easiest chord you'll ever learn. Play the A minor from lesson two and lift the ring finger off: One finger comes OFF. Nothing else moves. And what is left is your two anchors from lesson two. Try it now: 6 minutes G, pinky first, ten slow landings. Pluck all six strings after each one and fix what buzzes. Am to Am7 by lifting the ring, ten times. Listen to the sound open up. The pass mark: one clean G where all six strings ring. One is genuinely enough today. TOMORROW → a sixty-second game with these shapes that fixes the thing that actually makes guitarists quit. Day 11 of the new course is these two shapes, no pattern, then puts them to work: switching drill the next day, third song by the end of the block. See The New Course Picky counted to four.
