Exploring Thailand's BEST Islands
Hey Traveler,
Thailand’s Andaman Coast is home to some of the most beautiful and unique islands in the world.
The towering limestone cliffs of the Hong Islands.
The shimmering emerald lagoon near Koh Phi Phi.
Soft sand beaches populated entirely by monkeys, with turquoise water lapping at the shore.
On photos alone, it looks like paradise.
The problem is… many of these places have become too popular.
Take the Phi Phi Islands as an example.
They’re still stunning — but most people experience them the same way:
- Late-morning departures
- Dozens of boats arriving together
- Lagoons packed with people, noise, and whistles
- 20-minute stops before being rushed back on board
I remember years ago trying to get into Maya Bay and seeing a literal queue of boats waiting to enter — like they were lining up for a bus.
What should feel cinematic ends up feeling busy and rushed.
