Astronaut Kellie Gerardi gets her own Barbie for International Women's Day

As part of its International Women’s Day celebration, the iconic doll brand from Mattel is honoring a new generation of trailblazing women with a special tribute, including a Barbie modeled after astronaut Kellie Gerardi.

Gerardi is one of several global role models named to Barbie’s first-ever “Barbie Dream Team,” a lineup of accomplished women who have helped break barriers in their respective fields. Each honoree is being recognized with a one-of-a-kind doll created in her likeness.

The initiative launched during Women’s History Month and is tied to celebrations around International Women’s Day on March 8.

Rob Rausch buys Maura Higgins that Birkin he promised after ‘Traitors' finale betrayal

“Traitors” winner Rob Rausch has made good on his promise to faithful finalist Maura Higgins.

After betraying Higgins in the Season 4 finale when he revealed to her that he’d been a traitor the whole game, keeping the full $220,800 in winnings to himself, Rausch apologized and vowed to buy her an Hermès Birkin handbag.

Savannah Guthrie visits ‘TODAY' studio as she plans to eventually return on air

“TODAY” co-anchor Savannah Guthrie visited the NBC morning show’s set Thursday as the investigation into her 84-year-old mother’s disappearance stretched into a 32nd day.

“Savannah Guthrie stopped by the studio this morning to be with and thank her ‘TODAY’ colleagues,” a “TODAY” spokesperson said in a statement.

“While she plans to return to the show on air, she remains focused right now supporting her family and working to help bring Nancy home,” the spokesperson added.
