Principal & Assistant Principal for a Day!

Principal for a Day

Two lucky students recently won the opportunity to serve as Principal and Assistant Principal for a Day during our PTA Bingo Night! They spent most of the day shadowing Ms. Edwards and Ms. Roehm, getting a behind-the-scenes look at what it takes to help run Rose Hill.

Their day included visiting parts of the building that students don’t usually get to see—like the boiler room, electrical closets, and storage areas. They also attended meetings, helped respond to emails, and even discovered that sometimes phone calls interrupt your lunch!

It was a fun and memorable day for everyone involved, and we loved giving our student leaders a glimpse into the many ways we work together to support the Rose Hill community.

Save the Date: 6th Grade Promotion

Rose Hill Elementary will celebrate our 6th grade students during the Promotion Ceremony on Thursday, June 11, 2026 at 10:00am in the school gym. Families will be welcomed into the gym beginning at 9:30am, just after student arrival. Following the ceremony, our 6th graders will enjoy a celebratory picnic from 12:00–2:00pm. More details will be shared in the coming weeks, but please mark your calendars as we prepare to recognize and celebrate our amazing Rockets!

Celebrating Collaboration at Our Pancake Breakfast

OEA

On Thursday morning, we celebrated our latest Orbit of Excellence award winners for the character trait of Collaboration and Teamwork with a special Pancake Breakfast. Pictured are just a few of the students who were recognized for demonstrating outstanding teamwork throughout our school community.

Our administrative team had the pleasure of serving up pancakes—complete with butter and syrup—while students enjoyed breakfast together and were recognized for their efforts. Certificates were awarded, smiles were plentiful, and the room was filled with celebration.

We are incredibly proud of our Rockets for showing what it means to work together, support one another, and contribute positively to our school community!
