This Week in Activities

Both Oakton concert bands performed very well at District Concert Band Assessment this past weekend! The Oakton Concert Band earned an Excellent and the Symphonic Band earned a Superior. The Oakton High School Band program is now a 27-year Virginia Honor Band! Half of the Honor Band award consists of the marching band earning a superior at the state marching assessment in the fall, and the other half consists of our top concert band earning a superior at Concert Band Assessment this past weekend. Congratulations to our band students!
