Speech and Debate

International Show

Please join us for Robinson’s annual International Show on Wednesday, March 25th at 7:00 p.m. Come watch student performers will share cultural traditions and customs through their songs, dances, and costumes. Doors to the theater will open at 6:30 pm. All seats are general admission. Prior to the show, there will be a tailgate in the main hallway from 5:00 – 6:30 p.m. with school organizations selling food and snacks. Student Fasting Meal Kits

From February 18 to March 19, 2026, a Virginia Department of Education (VDOE) waiver allows students fasting during the school day to request take-home meal kits. These kits include a complete school breakfast and lunch to be eaten after the school day ends.

Important Meal Kit Information: 

  • Kits are charged based on a student’s meal status (Free, Reduced, or Paid).
  • Students may claim one breakfast and one lunch kit per day.
  • Students who eat a meal at school during the day are not eligible for a take-home kit on the same day.
  • Kits are distributed at the end of the school day. Students must pick up their own kits; adults are not permitted to collect them.

Parents or guardians must submit a weekly request form via the FCPS FNS website by the deadlines:

  • March 9, 2026 for the week of March 16, 2026

Forms must be submitted on time to receive meal kits for the following week.

Rho Kappa Food Drive

Rho Kappa is hosting a food drive from March 2 to March 13, collecting non-perishable items for the local non-profit Food for Others. The food drive is open to everyone, and collection boxes will be in B104, B204, C106 and C215.

On Wednesday, March 18th from 10:30am-1:30pm (during the middle school and high school lunches) we will be giving our students treats and snacks. Why? It's just a way to acknowledge each and every student with a treat - that is just for them, hence "This is For You"! Shhh..... it's a secret for the students! A signup for volunteers will be out closer to the big event!
