We’re reaching out to let you know about a change to the National Rail Conditions of Travel. From Weds 1 April 2026, any refund requests will need to be submitted by 23:59 on the day before you are due to travel. This is an industry-wide change designed to help tackle fares fraud.
If your train is delayed or cancelled, compensation and refund options remain the same. Delay Repay will continue to be available across all ticket types.
The changes do not apply to Advance or Season tickets, existing refund rules for these ticket types remain the same.
